I’m excited to be taking Illuminating Weaves to the Wool Monty again in 2025. The show prides itself on its accessibility and I’m bringing along a wheelchair accessible loom this year for people to try as well my usual woven items, weaving and needlefelting kits. Hope to see you there.
I’m excited to be taking part in the Scarborough Art Trail as part of Scarborough Fair. This is a free drop in event where we will be weaving on small looms.
I will be taking my new exhibition/soul space to the St. Cuthbert’s Centre on Holy Island where I will be artist in residence for the week. You may come along to enjoy the peace of the space, book onto a weaving workshop or come to a weaving quiet day. All ages welcome.
You are welcome to join us for an exhibition of work done at the studio over the last 5 years. As well as the exhibition there will be a fashion show at 2pm, refreshments, a loom for you to try your hand at weaving and a wheelchair accessible loom. Please pop in to celebrate the 5 years of wonderful creativity we have had at the studio and beyond.
This is a Scarborough Affordable Art Trail Event and is a free drop-in workshop. Come along to have a go at Creative Weaving. All ages, family friendly event, no previous weaving experience is necessary as you’ll work at your own level. All materials provided.

I will be at Swanwick for a residential craft event leading a variety of weaving activities with members of the Derbyshire WI.
I will be at Holy Trinity Church for breakfast followed by an opportunity for visitors to engage with the weaves and reflections from Walking the Way - a reflection on pilgrimage.

The opening is 1-3pm on Tuesday 12th September at Sandbox, Woodend Gallery.
Heritage Creativity Unwrapped - a marquee full of heritage craft demonstrations and workshops on the lower lawn of the castle grounds. Entry to the marquee is free but some workshops must be booked in advance. The studio will be closed on these dates as I will be attending for demonstrations and weaving workshops.
We will be weaving fabric using reclaimed and recycled materials to use in the creation of a sustainable sensory room later in the year.
I’m privileged to be filling this spiritual and peaceful space on the Island of Lindisfarne with stitching and weaves as I become artist in residence at St. Cuthbert’s for the week. I’m planning to revisit “Illuminating the Shadows” which was a reflection I created during the first 3 years following the death of my husband in 2011. I’m adding some new reflections on the theme of transformation in the wake of loss. The aim is to be authentic and hopeful. There will be opportunities to weave for all ages.

I will be weaving with community groups from Scarborough to create fabric of different textures to use in the creation of a sustainable sensory room at Crescent Arts later this year.
I’m excited to be taking Illuminating Weaves to Wool@J13 again in May. There is a change of venue this year so you’ll find us at Bishton Hall in Staffordshire, a grade II listed Georgian mansion. I’ll be outside in my purple gazebo so please come along to say hello and have a go on one of my looms.
I will also be running a landscape weave workshop which you book onto on the Wool@J13 website.

Illuminating Weaves will be leading some community weaving in this special space using a range of materials including reclaimed, rescued and recycled materials. You are invited to join us on either day 10am-12pm and 1-3.30pm.

I am excited to be taking a new installation of weaves and words to the St. Cuthbert’s Centre on Holy Island. The theme is “The Hopes and Fears of all the Years…..” and I will be there for the whole of the May half-term week. As well as you checking out the installation I will have a variety of looms for you to try out and opportunities to weave your own garden flag. Come and enjoy this beautiful island!

I’m excited to be part of this lovely show that is everything woolly! Winterwool is held at Lower Drayton Farm near Penkridge off J6 of the M6. I’ll be at the show both days and will have a loom with me in case you’d like to have a go. I am also going to be facilitating a creative weaving workshop each day on my new “travel” looms. I’ll add more information about tickets and booking workshops as I get it.
