Over the years I have worked on several installations using stitches, weaves and words. If you would like to talk to me about bringing one of these to your church or setting please get in touch.
In August 2025 I took “Embracing Seasonal Rhythms - a personal reflection from the National Memorial Arboretum” to The St. Cuthbert’s Centre on Lindisfarne. There were weaves and written reflections to illustrate the changing seasons both in Creation and Life. Visitors were encouraged to add to some community weaving.
“Illuminating the Shadows” was my response to grief during the three years after losing my husband Patrick to cancer in 2011 using stitches and reflections.
"Walking the Way” was my response to walking The St. Cuthbert’s Way from Melrose to the Holy Island of Lindisfarne. I used weaves and words.
“Where the Forest Meets the Sea” was a response to Creation in weaves, photographs and words.
“Illuminating the Shadows - The Journey Continues” is a reflection on transformation using weaves, photographs and words.
“Grounded” was a collaboration between Illuminating Weaves and Crescent Arts in Scarborough. I ran weaving workshops with community groups in Scarborough then the weaves were installed as part of a sensory space.
